FORK AND RIDGE
FORK AND RIDGE
In collaboration with an industrial designer and a graphic designer, I developed a fictional short film centered on a Michelin-starred chef living in isolation within his once-thriving restaurant. Sourcing all ingredients from an adjoining greenhouse, the concept celebrates sustainability and showcases how thoughtful design can inspire a beautiful, healthful way of living.

The location is a large mountainous region with endless scenic views. The short film will take place during the 2050s when technology has greatly evolved. The modern geometric architecture is inspired by the Switzerland native architect, Le Corbusier. Culinary Arts Academy in Switzerland is the leading educational institution in the industry. Switzerland has the highest rate of Michelin-starred restaurants per capita in the world.

The main design goal was to maximize natural light, ventilation, and energy efficiency. The restaurant’s dramatic form frames scenic views while flooding the interior with abundant natural light. The form of the greenhouse complements the restaurant, maximizing natural light.
